Global sports provider, Eleven Sports, has today bolstered its strong football portfolio in Belgium and Luxembourg with the acquisition of exclusive live rights to Major League Soccer (MLS).
The agreement begins this weekend with Eleven Sports showing at least one game per match week for the next four seasons. The deal includes exclusive live rights to all MLS regular season matches, the MLS Cup Playoffs and the MLS Cup decider.
MLS continues to grow rapidly since its inception in 1996 with 24 teams now playing in the league and two more to be added from next season.
The league also features global football icons including Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger; as well as former Belgian Red Devils Laurent Ciman and Roland Lamah. Alejandro Pozuelo also made the switch from Belgian side KRC Genk to Toronto FC in March this year.
