The highly anticipated tournament will be available via the pioneering Eleven Sports Pass for just SGD$0.99 per week

ELEVEN SPORTS has today announced that the network will be the official broadcaster of the 2017 RBS 6 Nations Rugby Championship in Singapore.

The prestigious Rugby Union championship will be added to the growing lineup of premium LIVE and EXCLUSIVE content available on ELEVEN SPORTS in Singapore, following an agreement with Asia-wide media rights distributor MP & Silva. ELEVEN SPORTS is already the home of top sporting action in Singapore including the English Premier League, Serie A TIM, 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, NBA, ATP 250 tennis, Badminton Asia Championships, FINA World Cup swimming, ITTF table tennis and top squash events from around the world.

Sports fans will be able to enjoy the 6 Nations every week from 4 February to 18 March on the www.elevensports.sg website, mobile devices, tablet, Apple TV or Samsung Smart TV.  The tournament will be available to subscribers of all ELEVEN SPORTS’ plans, from the SGD$24.90 monthly (without contract) Eleven Sports Premier Plan to the SGD$0.99 per week Eleven Sports Pass – a ground-breaking package introduced in December 2016 featuring a pricing strategy which aims to disrupt the traditional consumption of sport in Singapore and offers fans freedom and flexibility with no bundled contract and no need for set top boxes.

“ELEVEN SPORTS continues to revolutionise the broadcast market globally by providing fans with LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the biggest and hottest sports properties at a very affordable price”, says Danny Menken, Managing Director of ELEVEN SPORTS. “The 6 Nations is one of rugby’s most prestigious international championships and we are excited to bring this highly anticipated tournament to Singapore, enabling the country’s growing rugby following to witness the action anytime, anywhere.”

Defending champions England will enter the tournament as favourites after a 14-match unbeaten run during 2016. Adding fire to the already heated rivalries, the British and Irish players will be battling to win a place in the British and Irish Lions squad that will tour New Zealand in June and July this year.

The 6 Nations and other premium sports content can be accessed anytime, anywhere, on www.elevensports.sg and via the ELEVEN SPORTS app, which can be downloaded from Google Play and the Apple App Store. The network’s channels are also available in Singapore on SingTel TV, StarHub Go, Toggle, M1, ViewQwest, and Samsung TV.
