Global sports provider ELEVEN SPORTS is delighted to announce that it will continue its LIVE coverage of the Premier League in Taiwan after agreeing a new EXCLUSIVE three-year partnership starting from the 2019/20 season.

Although already a Premier League broadcaster in Taiwan, the new deal will see ELEVEN SPORTS remain the home of the Premier League beyond next season, continuing to offer fans all the big matches featuring some of the world’s best players and most popular clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

The new three-year partnership, agreed directly with the Premier League for the first time, will run until the end of the 2021/2022 season and will see ELEVEN SPORTS have EXCLUSIVE rights to all 380 games each season and deliver at least six matches LIVE each week in local language, along with exclusive highlights and near live clips for social media.

“Through our efforts the Premier League is becoming increasingly popular in Taiwan, and in particular we have seen our young audience (18-29-year olds) grow significantly.” said Simone Kang, ELEVEN SPORTS Managing Director, Taiwan. “Agreeing this new partnership with the Premier League reiterates our position as the go to destination for football fans in Taiwan.”

Premier League Executive Chairman, Richard Scudamore, said: “We are very pleased that ELEVEN SPORTS has chosen to invest in live Premier League broadcasting rights in Taiwan. ELEVEN has an established track-record of making the competition available across Taiwan and its innovative offering has been particularly successful at increasing engagement with young fans. We look forward to working with them as an exclusive partner to make the best Premier League action available in Taiwan for the three seasons 2019/20 – 2021/22.”

The renewal of the Premier League partnership in Taiwan comes just weeks after ELEVEN SPORTS successfully secured the second cycle of key rights in Belgium, agreeing new three-year deals with Serie A and LaLiga and adding Bundesliga, and in Poland with the renewal of Serie A and LaLiga for three-years.

The key renewals are testament to the popularity of ELEVEN’s innovative, fan-first coverage that is localised in each market adding relevance for domestic fans. ELEVEN SPORTS has also recently acquired the rights to LaLiga in the UK, the global sports providers first move into the market.

As well as top football action from the Premier League, ELEVEN SPORTS subscribers in Taiwan will also have a front row seat to the Euro 2020 qualifiers, and the tournament itself as well as scintillating LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of local sport which is extremely popular in the market such as Taiwan based CPBL baseball teams the Lamigo Monkeys and the Fubon Guardians, ASEAN Basketball League team the Formosa Dreamers and the Badminton Asia Championships.

Subscribers in Taiwan can enjoy a front row seat to all the action from the Premier League across cable, IPTV, satellite and through ELEVEN’s own OTT platform.
