ELEVEN SPORTS PORTUGAL TO BROADCAST THE BUNDESLIGA ON FACEBOOK FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEKEND

For the first time in Portugal, ELEVEN SPORTS will show Bundesliga football live on Facebook this weekend as part of an innovative strategy reach fans across the nation.

 

ELEVEN SPORTS has led the way in Portugal when it comes to live streaming football on Facebook, with recent matches from other top European leagues being shown. This Saturday marks the first time that a Bundesliga match will be shown on the platform in Portugal with FC Bayern München taking on Fortuna Düsseldorf.

 

The German champions face an important test following their 3-2 Klassiker loss to rivals Borussia Dortmund, a result that leaves them in fifth place, seven points behind the league leaders. Newly promoted Fortuna Düsseldorf are trying to escape the bottom of the league, but travel to the Allianz Arena in good spirits following a 4-1 win against Hertha Berlin.

Globally, ELEVEN SPORTS has regularly live-streamed football on Facebook. In the UK & Ireland one LaLiga and Serie A match is shown every weekend. Recent Bundesliga and LaLiga matches have been shown on the platform in Poland while Ligue 1 matches have been showcased in Belgium.

 

The game between FC Bayern München and Fortuna Düsseldorf, scheduled for 14:30 on Saturday 24 November, will be available via the Eleven Sports Facebook page in Portugal.
