On 16 June 2018, thousands of MMA fans will descend on the Lotto Arena, Antwerp, following today’s announcement that ELEVEN SPORTS is bringing Cage Warriors back to Belgium.
In November 2017, ELEVEN SPORTS collaborated with Cage Warriors to bring the very first MMA event of this size to Belgian soil. Now, after that success, the event will be returning to Antwerp for Cage Warriors 94.
In preparation for Cage Warriors 94, ELEVEN SPORTS will also be supporting two local MMA events in Antwerp and Bergen (both on Saturday 17 March), where up and coming talent can earn themselves a spot on the Cage Warriors 94 fight card.
“Fight Sports is becoming increasingly popular in Belgium. We are proud that together with Cage Warriors we can give MMA fans across the country another opportunity to watch the action live.” said Anouk Mertens, Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS in Belgium. “In the coming weeks, several talented local fighters will be vying for a place to join the fight card for Cage Warriors 94 which promises to be even bigger and more spectacular than ever before.”
“Our last trip to Belgium was hugely successful for both the sport of MMA and for Cage Warriors’ partnership with ELEVEN SPORTS. The scenes inside the Lotto Arena were too special for us not to return,” said Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan. “We are committed to Belgium and will work with the great gyms in both Flanders and Wallonia to put Belgian MMA right at the top of the European scene. We can’t wait to see what we can do this time around.”
As well as hosting Cage Warriors 94, ELEVEN SPORTS will also carry the event exclusively live in Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Singapore and Taiwan after a multi-year agreement was struck to ensure every Cage Warriors fight would be shown in these markets.
